Grand Rapids, Michigan native Thomas L. Sherred (1915-1985) was a writer of science fiction. His papers for the period of 1966-1989 reflect his science fiction writing but primarily consist of correspondence with other authors, including Lloyd Biggle, Jr, Howard DeVore, and Virginia Kidd. It also includes working manuscripts for his novel and manuscripts of short stories. Alien Island
